Cartooning (4 week class)

You don’t need to have the best drawing skills to create fun and exciting cartoons; you just need some basic tips, a good story and the right tools. We’ll start off with easy to do sketches and finish with a cartoon booklet in full color! Instructor: Ward Kelly

Creative Writing Mixed Bag (4 week class)

Group stories, fun poetry, adventure writing and creating your own story board game will be covered in this class. Instructor: Ward Kelly

Mystery Writing (4 week class)

Spooky tales, twists and turns and the ever-popular surprise ending will be some of the ways you’ll learn to write yourself a great mystery.

Painting Big Faces (4 week class)

Students will learn how to draw facial features and place them in proportion to one another. We will discuss where the highlights and shadows go on a typical portrait. Using tempera paints, students will learn to make tints for the highlights and shades for the shadows on the face. Instructor: Sipple

Magic Bag of Tricks (1 Day Workshop)

Every magician needs their own bag of tricks. Create your own magic bag and wand and learn the art of performing tricks that will amaze your friends and family. Instructor: Ward Kelly

Paper Decorating I – Paste Paper (1 day workshop)

Decorate paper with paste-paint and tools designed to give paper a rich textural appearance. Paste paper is great to use for card-making, collages, bookbinding and more! Instructor: Sipple

Papermaking (1 day workshop)

Make your own paper out of cotton pulp – both white and colored. Dried flowers and collage paper will be provided, but bring your own as well.
